This year the Salers celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the promotion of the breed in Ireland with a present membership of over 100 breeders. Salers are better known and understood as a Suckler cow breed.
The difficult
environmental conditions where the Salers breed developed makes it
ideal for the poorer areas of the British Isles and todays beef industry.

UPRA Salers) est reconnu par le Ministère de l' Agriculture comme

Salers bulls have been used over all the major British and Bos Indicus breeds in Australia with impressive results. Lines of uniform cattle have been produced which bring premiums in the saleyards or on the hook.
