I can remember helping on my Grandfather's
farm, not that long ago, and being aware of various machines bearing the
name 'Allis-Chalmers'. Unfortunately, Allis-Chalmers became the victim of rapidly changing financial times and was eventually forced to sell the farm equipment division to K-H-Deutz AG of Germany in 1985. Thus the company responsible for many innovations in farm equipment was relegated to history. |
