Book Early for NSA North Sheep 2019
The 2019 National Sheep Association North Sheep event, which will be hosted by Frankland Farms in North Yorkshire on 5 June, is encouraging exhibitors to book online now to ensure they are guaranteed a presence.
This one-day biennial northern showcase regularly attracts up to 6,000 farmers and offers visitors a unique sheep event that demonstrates the sector’s latest developments, the opportunity to attend practical workshops and seminars and a platform to exhibit the huge variety of commercial breeds the industry has to benefit from.
The North Sheep website gives detailed information of all exhibiting opportunities for trade exhibitors, breed societies and individual breeders.
NSA Northern Regional Manager and North Sheep Organiser, Heather
Stoney-Grayshon, said:
“2019 is a historic year for the UK and
its important that sheep farmers have an industry event that offers
a venue for advice, discussion, education and also reassurance.
We want to provide a positive environment that celebrates the innovation, professionalism and talent of the sheep industry, and I encourage the sector to get behind this event and work together for a successful future.
We’re expecting places to fill up quickly so we’re advising people to book their trade stands early; and certainly, before the closing date of 22nd February 2019.”
“There are also some sponsorship opportunities available for businesses that want to join North Sheep 2019’s major event sponsors, Agri Lloyd” added Heather.
This venue at New Hall Farm, Rathmell near Settle on the Yorkshire Lancashire Border, has wide appeal to the farming sector, and is a great example of a modern, progressive farming business.
Being held by kind permission of the Frankland family, and headed by brothers Richard and Chris, this is a 900-acre family farming enterprise, operating across three holdings and incorporating a flock of 1,200 sheep, 120 head of Suckler Cattle plus 350 replacement and store cattle and 220 head of dairy cattle.
Supporting 2019 NSA North Sheep are a 40 number strong team of dedicated committee members, major sponsor Agri Lloyd and to date main-line sponsors, I’Anson Bros Ltd, CCM Auctions, Townson Tractors and Booth Ltd.
The National Sheep Association (NSA) represents the views and interests of sheep producers throughout the UK, receiving tremendous support from everyone connected with the industry. The NSA is funded by the memberships of its sheep farmers. Together with the many industry related activities it is involved with, it aims to ensure that it plays a key part in every aspect of the sheep farming sector.
