ITALIAN and international buyers will get the chance to sink their
teeth into some prime English beef and lamb at the Salone de Gusto
food show in Turin later this month (Oct).

The show, which concentrates on “slow food”, is the
largest specialist food fair in Europe and is expected to attract
            150,000 visitors between October 26 and 30.

Three English exporters will be joining experts from the English
Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) on its stand at the show where samples
of their product will be cooked and offered to visitors for tasting.

Jean-Pierre Garnier, EBLEX Export Manager, said: “The show
will give us the chance to demonstrate the world class quality of
the beef and lamb produced by English farmers.

“Slow food – which takes a little more time and care
to produce – is becoming more and more popular across Europe
and our products make the perfect basis for a huge variety of meals
            put together in this way.”
