Find a good used McCormick tractor with McCormickTrader

British farmers and overseas buyers looking for a good used McCormick tractor will find it easier to track down what they want now that the www.McCormickTrader.co.uk website has gone online.

This new service, which is linked to an all-new corporate website, provides illustrated listings of pre-used McCormick stock held by dealers in the company’s extensive dealer network.

“Our dealers told us they were keen to promote their used tractor stock on the Internet but not all of them have their own website,” explains Stewart Barnett, UK sales manager. “So we’ve teamed up with a specialist agency to produce an easy-to-use but highly informative stock website that makes all the details available with the click of a mouse.”

Farmers looking for a particular tractor can list available stock by model, by feature – such as two-wheel drive or tractors with loaders – engine power or any other criterion. The displays dedicated to each tractor give basic specification and details such as year and hours, as well as all the contact options available for following up the enquiry, including telephone, fax and email.

“With such a comprehensive tractor range now being produced under the McCormick name, the stock listings should soon provide something for everyone,” adds Stewart Barnett. “Used tractors from our own hire fleet are already listed and our dealers have started uploading their stock details.”

Yorkshire dealer Wilfred Scruton has listed MC and MTX tractors and a 280hp ZTX with just 1000hrs on the clock, Riverlea Tractors in west Wales has posted a trio of low hours McCormick CX models and there are CX, MC and MTX tractors from the McCormick and Shropshire-based Hawk hire fleets on the site.

“A used McCormick tractor that’s been looked after represents excellent value-for-money for anyone who wants to buy second-hand rather than new,” says Stewart Barnett. “The new McCormickTrader website gives them easy access to what’s available.”
