            HOW can you make management of your flock easier and ensure resources

            The answers, along with a swathe of other activities, will be
              available on the English Beef and Sheep Executive (EBLEX) stand
              in the Avon Hall at the Sheep 2006 Event at Malvern’s Three
              Counties Showground on Tuesday August 2. 
               
              Free copies of the latest EBLEX Better Returns manual on Easier
              Management will be available to English levy payers and its author,
              John Vipond from the Scottish Agricultural College (SAC), will
              be on hand to give help and advice to farmers on a one-to-one basis. 
               
              Also available on the stand will be the 2006 Better Returns Recorded
              Flocks Directory and during the day lamb butchery demonstrations
              will be held to highlight the physical and financial differences
              between producing lean and over fat carcases. 
               
              The stand will also play host, in conjunction with the National
              Sheep Association (NSA), to the National Lamb Selection Competition
              and visitors to the stand will be able to brush up their lamb selection
              skills with the help of Better Returns trainers. 
               
              Chris Lloyd, EBLEX Industry Development Manager said: “The
              EBLEX Better Returns stand will have more activity and more to
              offer levy payers than ever before – we are looking forward
            to welcoming and talking to sheep farmers from all over the country.”
