North Sheep 2005 announces £16,000 plus sponsorship

North Sheep, the National Sheep Association northern region's biennial event to be staged on Wednesday 1 June at Whinfell Park, near Penrith in Cumbria has received industry backing worth more than £16,000. Farmsense is the major sponsor, while EBLEX and Intervet have agreed to be the mainline sponsors.

“We're pleased to have received such generous support towards North Sheep which we're expecting to once again attract a crowd of more than 10,000 expected and 200 trade stands,” says NSA northern region chairman, Carl Stephenson. “Our plans are at an advanced stage for the one day technical event which will provide farmers with information on issues surrounding MTR and offer direction for the British sheep industry's future.”
